Birth, Borscht and Death

Most likely, you were born at some point. How much do you know about it?
An educator, speaker and birth practitioner with experience at over 1,000 births, Rhea Dempsey has a reputation as one of the foremost thinkers on the topic of childbirth. Rhea will speak of the processes, cultures and counter-cultures that have developed around the most mind-blowing, yet one of the most ordinary, life-events: birth.

A Ukrainian beetroot soup popular in many Central and Eastern European countries.
Served hot with sour cream and bread. Very tasty.

Is your death a part of your life? Should a peaceful, dignified death at a time of your choosing, be a fundamental human right? Dr Johannes Klabbers, from right-to-die organisation Exit International, works with people who want nothing more than to die, and often as soon as possible. As a narrative therapist, he works with people who want to live a good life. For A Centre for Everything, Johannes asks what it means to die and what it means to live.
