Various locations, Collingwood, Victoria
Applications open to practicing artists and art workers.
Applications close midnight March 26 2017
The Artist Intensive will see a core group of artists undertake workshops, case studies, discussions and shared meals with Mel Evans, Kelly Doley, Alex Kelly, Amy Spiers, Gabrielle de Vietri and Megan Cope. Artist Intensive workshops are open to practicing artists and arts workers from all fields with an interest in politically-engaged practice.
The Intensive has a capacity of 25 artists. To apply please submit a short biography and a link to your website or work via the form below. Space is also allocated in the program for participants to propose workshops and present work.
As the program focuses on collective activities and is intended as a complete series of events that build on one another, we kindly request that applicants ensure that they can attend the majority of events included in the Artist Intensive. Artist Intensive participants will be automatically booked into the public events (lecture by Mel Evans and Forms of Resistance panel discussion).
While we have aimed to keep the Artist Intensive program as affordable as possible, a $50 contribution to cover catering expenses will be requested per participant upon confirmation.
The program takes place over various locations around Collingwood and Melbourne. Participants will receive a detailed program upon confirmation.
